Yup. I believe it's called the "Tony Delk the Explosive Scorer Went Off for 50 Points One Night" syndrome.

But yeah, Ford sucks these days--would Indiana be trying to waive him if not?

TJ doesn't get along with the Pacers coach and they have Collison now.

he was hurt a lot last year but in 2008-2009 TJ had a good year at 15ppg and 5apg in 30 mpg.

Ford vs Lowry 2009-2010

games played: Ford 47 < Lowry 68
minutes per: Ford 25.3 > Lowry 24.3
points per: Ford 10.3 > Lowry 9.1
assists per: Ford 3.8 < Lowry 4.5
rebounds per: Ford 3.2 < Lowry 3.6
turnovers per: Ford 1.9 < Lowry 1.7
steals per: Ford 0.9 = Lowry 0.9
field goal %: Ford 45% > Lowry 40%
3pt field g%: Ford 16% < Lowry 27%
free throw%: Ford 77% < Lowry 83%
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

So there's no place in Indiana because they have Collison, yet there is a place in Houston, with Brooks and Lowry?

Not only does TJ Ford suck, but he's vastly overpaid ($8.5mil), which is why no team will give up value for him.

Also when comparing players it's rather important to include age & salary, using eFG% and not leaving the defensive aspects of the game.

Pacer Fan. What would you want for Jordan Hill?

I don't see anything that you have that the Rockets would want in a straight-up swap. He's a young player on a good deal with a lot of potential. The only way I see him going to you guys is as part of a deal for Granger.

(and no, we're not throwing Yao in... ;) )

The basic problem w/dealing w/the Rockets is the team is loaded w/skilled role players. There's no reason to merely swap one role player for another.
What Houston wants is a play-making stud who commands double teams, allowing all the other players to fulfill their roles.
Unless another team wants to vastly overpay,I don't see the Rockets rearranging the furniture just because they're bored.

While we as fans have our own opinions as to who the right star may be,the Rockets prob have their own list and know just how difficult it is to trade for one.(After all it takes two to trade, and there are a lot of teams wanting to upgrade as well.) I think the Rockets are grudgingly resigned to drafting for their missing piece and will try to make their big move at the Draft.
