I'm concerned about his ability to GM when he gets bloated like a balloon. Fat people's brain doesn't work as fast as skinny people. Its a scientific fact, look it up.


I'll like to see Morey shed about 40 pounds. At the very least, he should be able to get to the telephone quicker.

SO I spent the weekend in Hartford, CT (family wedding). The place was overrun by tweeners at the U.S. gymnastics nationals. Friday morning, I was walking out of my hotel and saw a dude who looked a lot like Darth Morey. I turned to my wife and said "if that dude wasn't so fat, he'd be a dead ringer for Morey."

Later that night, I was catching up on basketball news, when i ran across this tidbit from Jerome Soloman:

It should be interesting to watch Morey work at making a deal in the next six months to move from also-ran team to contender. Little gets in the way of a Morey move. He was on vacation, taking in the USA Gymnastics national champion-ships in Hartford, Conn., when this one went down.

Damn, he really has gained weight. (And i suck for not getting a picture.)

Already in NYC with the wife for a few days. Hartford, alas, is no more. But as big as Morey has gotten, I don't think my camera can pick him up from here...close, though.

Further evidence I suck: Team USA scrimmage vs. France was tonight at Madison Square Garden. I'm staying in Manhattan, less than 2 miles away. And I didn't find out about it until 5 minutes before it was supposed to start. The wife said, 'you shoulda told me, baby. We should have gone to that."
