*No. DEN wants
young talent and
cap relief to rebuild. Look at the three teams on
their list. They are looking for top-five level talent/pick in return and is not interested in taking on large non-expiring.
** No. They won't give up what DEN wants for a 1-year rental.

CHI: Hell no. Deng's contract is the
last thing DEN wants.

NJN: Yes.
If Melo agrees to sign an extention for his wife, but picks are more likely offered instead of Lopez.
NOH: *
NYK: NYK doesn't have what DEN wants. NYK picks are expected to be too late for a FO of DEN's competence level. Morey may turn NYK picks into gold at their expected range, but for DEN's FO it's a crapshot in the dark with a nerf cannon.

SAC: Yes. Since they are probably expecting Dalembert and Landry to walk after this season, they may risk an unprotected 1st with Dalembert and Landry and see if Evans and Cousins can convince Melo to re-sign after a strong season. Unlike MIN which has no chance to be good even with Melo, SAC has a chance to perform this season and convince Melo to stay with its core of young players.

UTA: **
WAS: *
As far as frontrunner goes, I think NJN is it for teams Melo will sign an extention for and SAC is it for teams Melo won't sign an extention for. HOU is a longshot at this point, the NYK picks are expected to be too late for DEN's FO, and HOU offers no top-five lotto level upside player in return. Players like Brooks and Hill are outside of the upside range DEN apparently wants in return. DEN apparently expects Cousins/Favors level upside young player or picks early enough to land them a player of that level in the draft.
The only team offering such talent in return that Melo appears to be willing to sign an extention for is NJN, so if Kroenke works with Melo, that's where he's probably going. Now if Kroenke decides to play hardball and stick it to Melo, SAC is probably where Melo will end up next season. That's a good thing for Morey, since his computers are probably telling him that Melo makes everybody around him much worse, but it's like with Bosh, Morey has to pretend to look busy so he doesn't get lynched by Bosh/Melo devotees.
