So many have been quick to scream FIRE RICK, FIRE DARRYL... I am very interested to see what you guys would do, if you had the chance to be GM.
Who would you trade/trade for?
Who would you hire as coach? (Has to be realistic, consider you only have the same opportunities as DM)
Would you tank, knowing that the lottery is not guaranteed to bring the first, second, or third pick?
Would you build a offensive style or defensive style, or maybe a more balance squad?
Lets quit whining, and use all of the negative energies to stimulate some real brain activity

Re: Hey Armchair GM's
Keep Morey fire Rick. I like Rick but I never wanted him to be our coach. Can't beat Phil or coach a defense.
Melo/ Paul for Brooks/Martin/, Jeffries, Battier and a future 1st or two. Would more then likely need to find a third team
I like JVG but I think he is a coach that only likes vets so that makes it hard since he wants a older team. I would go for that Assistant coach for the Lakers, Shaw I think is his name. Maybe T.R. Dunn but not to sure about him since he has had many interviews but has yet to get a job.
Hell no to tanking!
I like defense more in the starting lineup and offense off the bench.
If Melo
Lowry
Lee

Scola

With Brooks, Hill, Budinger, Miller, Hayes, Taylor[
If Paul but is not coming with the Hornets playing like they are and control for two more years including this year

Martin

Re: Hey Armchair GM's
The Rockets are by far the best 0-5 team in NBA history. People overlook they've probably had the toughest schedule in the NBA so far. Spurs, Lakers, Warriors, Hornets, Nuggets are all potential playoff teams in the tough western conference. Additionally, they have been pretty much down to the wire in all 5 games so far. With a couple lucky breaks (ie. not choking against the Lakers and Spurs) the Rockets could easily be 2-3 and we wouldn't be here having this discussion.

Re: Hey Armchair GM's
Current roster they are a playoff team and I know the season is not done or over and they are not the Nets of last year because we actually have more then one or two players. I am not for firing Rick at anytime in the season nor should I have said that. I know twenty games in season this team will be a 500 hundred team. Come midseason the Rockets will be in the process of making that second half run. We have a deep bench and plenty of assists to use and I think we should use them. With all that said they need a go to player and can not use both Martin and Brook. Something I have said for a good while now
