How about Kevin Martin for Evan Turner and an expiring contract?

He's having a career year. I don't think we should trade him.

Martin is the ideal player for Adelman's system so unless you have a player good enough to completely change our system, the answer is no.

Chandler and Fields for him its a very good deal, but Rockets problem is that there is too many depth and there is no need for more.

No it's not a good deal. You don't replace one of the best and most efficient scorers in the league with a future role player and a solid starter. Quality over quantity.

But he's one dimensional and the only thing he really does well is score for the first 3 quarters. At least you'll be getting complete players with Fields and Chandler.

+1 . Morons in this board. Two roleplayers for one of the most efficient scorers in the nba will never happen.

in fact it happens many times per season in many teams. If in doubt, check your own team:

Kevin Martin for Landry
Scola for free

He is but the one thing he's exceptional at is the most important aspect of the game. A guy who is mediocre in every aspect except scoring is more valuable than a guy like Diaw that's the jack of all trades and the master of none. Most people on realgm can't understand that.

How is scoring the most important aspect of the game? Where's the difference between a guy that scores 25 and gives up 20 points and a guy that scores 10 and gives up 5 points?

Look, Martin has playing very well as of late and I'm starting to warm up on the guy.
Also I'm quite sure almost nobody on on this board would take Boris Diaw over Kevin Martin - and I, too, woudn't do the proposed trade by the NY fan, but if Martin's shot isn't falling he's pretty useless. So let's hope he continues to play like he has the last 10-15 games.

Kevin Martin is a role player actually.
