thanks.

Right. Rockets aren't going to give up all their assets for a "star". Try thinking for a sec instead of jumping the gun.

what gun?
i agree with you and that's all to it.

the only thing i would ask u is How do u define Overpay?
everyone has a certain limit. do u KNOW what Morey's definition of Overpaying is?
but anyway, Morey is the GM and I have faith in him.

and i am not promoting the idea of giving up all our assets for a star. that would be madness.

Adelman is the only reason this team is even competing. I'm not against hiring JVG, but he isn't going to come in as an assistant.

What's your point again..? Rockets aren't going to overpay for a "star" - that would be stupid.

You talk about firing Adelman and hiring JVG, someone who's been out of the game for a while. Adelman is the only reason this team is competing, and to fire him after a shaky losing streak is considered jumping the gun. It's not his fault that the players aren't executing.

Bringing in JVG will mean another rebuild, you think hes gonna play these offensive minded players?

It's okay, as much as it sucks losing to these turds, the trade deadline is approaching. The positive side to all of this: The more we lose, the faster we blow this thing up, and he closer we move up IN the draft :)

Except this draft has a possibility of being a crapshoot... :(

Terrence Williams needs more minutes, especially today when there was no wing scorer on the other team

He wants a big black guy to play defense and protect the rim. But he also wants a smart big to initiate his offense. In the NBA how many rim protecting bruisers can pass the ball? How many are there in the HISTORY of the game?

CHris Webber.....
Bill Russell....
Hakeem...

hmmmm

Patrick Ewing
David Robinson
Kareem
Moses Malone
Robert Parish

I can name quite a few C's that can pass, and defend the rim.

The problem is, the league itself. It favours SG's, and SF's (Kobe, Wade, Lebron, etc!) You can't have a big lumbering "Black guy" anymore.

Another collapse, had a large lead, and got murdered on the pick and roll in OT. Was also disappointed not to see TWill in the game, our adjustments out of timeouts are almost non-existent. Lowry has cooled off as well, in the past 9 games he's done roughly 8/4/5 on 28% from the floor..

Webber was a pretty bad defender. Not Kevin Martin or Scola bad, but he certainly wasn't any good.

Also Adelman's offense really only needs one guy that can initiate the offense from the high post. Of course you'd rather have two, but it's not a necessity.

The problem is that Scola isn't very comfortable/good initating the offense from the high post, which forces your center to initate the offense.
So either you trade Scola for a someone that is comfortable intiating the offense or you trade for a center that can intiating the offense alongside Scola.
Of course there are almost no centers that can defend, rebound, block shots and pass. Cousins is one. Nene is another one, though he's more of a PF and both bring limited shot blocking.

Morey is in a tough spot, he's a seller in a buyer's market and the value of his players will continue to shrink as/if this team keeps on sucking.
