they don't want to pay you too much
that's why perkins is gone
cause boston don't want to pay him 40 millions for 4 years

I wanted Battier to be traded to one of the contenders, but I guess it's easy for Morey to take advantage of Chris Wallace.

Both players will be missed.

yea i wanted battier in boston
but i guess morey don't want to give perkins 44 millions 4 years extension (that's what perkins was asking)

Battier said he found out the trade on twitter and that Morey didnt call him until a couple hours after the trade. hmmmm

trade isn't official until nba office approved it
morey probably didn't call him until it's officially done
news we got was battier for thabeet and 1st round pick
it wasn't know until later that ish and carroll were involved as well

One other thing about the no extension policy: It could easily be temporary until after the new CBA
Morey 2020.
