In happier news than Adelman leaving...

Post#1 » by Optimism Prime » Tue Apr 19, 2011 5:01 am

Chuck Hayes got some much-deserved DPOY love this year! Not nearly enough, but 2 first place votes and 3 third place votes for 13 points overall.

Fourth-most points of a center (behind Howard, Chandler, and Bogut). One of two players to receive multiple first-place votes (the other being Dwight).

Let's hear it for Chuck the Truck, and cross your fingers he gets a place on one of the all-defense teams (which he should).

Well deserved.

Glad he's getting some recogniction, even though it might effect our chances of re-signing him.

I wonder who, besides Feigen and Worrell/Drexler/Bullard, voted for him.

Maybe Chuck will follow Rick to whichever team he goes to?
hard to believe Hakeem only won this award twice.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I suspect he has a ton of DPOY shares. Will look into this and see what I can scrounge up.
