Chris Bosh trade to rockets?

Post#1 » by KhanAir23 » Mon Jun 13, 2011 6:36 pm

Trade a few pieces for Bosh IF miami is willing to let him go
we have the pieces to make a 2 for 1 type deal

I still wouldnt want him on the rockets, he's a nut job and over paid and over rated.
what you guys think?

If we unload Scola and pieces for Bosh, I think it would be an okay deal.

The problem with the big 3 is not Bosh. He's managed to subdue his presence on the court thus far to accomodate the other two stars. He's shown that he can play without the bal. IMHO, the big three played as well as they could have when it's 3.5 versus 5 every game on offense.

It's not like they crumbled in the first round either. They made it all the way to the finals. The core 3 are fine. The rotation from player #4 to player #9 is what needs to be addressed.

They shouldn't break up the big 3 yet. If the organization has a bit more patience, 2-3 good pieces will put them over the top.

I don't want him.

I always thought Bosh was overrated and I certainly don't wanna root for him.

He's already a tad overpaid, but his trade kicker just kills it. $20mil/year for Bosh? Yuck.

Sadly Morey would probably trade Scola + fillers for him.
I guess it's not horrible depending on who those fillers are.
I'm gonna be pissed though if we trade anything more than Scola, Hill, Dragic & Thabeet/Miller for this guy.

I really hope we don't trade for him at all. :-?

no to bosh
i'm tired of all these stats superstar
put up good stats number but fail to win
i'm happy with our team
we just need a taller center and can score in the 4th quarter

depends on who we trade. i think his last 2 years are overpaid. 3rd to last year he's slightly overpaid, but you have to do that if you wanna contend.

he's a legit 2nd option. can be a reliable efficient 20/10 guy. with the right defensive center and defensive wings/guards his defense would be pretty good too.

i'd assume rockets have scola in the trade. cause we might resign yao. so having all 3 would be redundant since they're best used on offensive end.

scola and any 2 of hasheem, hill, twill, bud, dragic. if they want 4 then they can add a filler or 2.

of corse that's wishful thinking. they'd need another one of our key rotation players.

we could offer hashee, hill, and twill - 3 lottery picks for bosh.

they probably want Lowry to run the team.

Not to reiterate too much of what others have posted, but if the cost were "only" Scola + say, Thabeet (or) Hill, that kind of thing, I'd give it serious consideration....

...but NOT to have Bosh on the team. I don't have anything against him, but he isn't worth his contract. He gets paid superstar money but needs to be on a team with no other great players or, at least, he needs a heck of a point guard to feed him the basketball. Kyle is good and has improved, but I don't know if Bosh would fit on this team.

Now, if you have a third team with a very high first rounder or two.....But trading him to Cleveland would be too ironic, Minnesota already has Kevin Love, Utah already has an overpaid starting PF...

IF we traded for Bosh and kept him (all this being fan boy Internet B.S. anyway), then Scola would have to be in the deal and you'd need a separate deal to send out PatPat for a high first rounder, trying to move on up in the draft.

Bosh is an excellent player, extremely underated.

Would take him on this team in a heartbeat.

I wanted Bosh last offseason but not this offseason. I still think he is a good player and a solid number two but he is not what the Rockets need. Not a number one and not a defensive big. Also he is highly overpaid and would not want to touch that contract.

I agree that Bosh isn't a primary offensive option but he is a solid defender. Still I'd rather look else where since the asking price will most likely too high

i know the rockets need a superstar but if we can, i would prefer a superstar that's also a presence on the defensive end.

SO....Dwight is the only player that comes to mind. But there's only one and I don't wanna gut the team in order to get him. Isn't the make up of this year's championship team the way to go? Putting superstars together won't and didn't get it done. We need a collection of good-to-decent players along with one guy in order to get it done.

I think Miami will get better players than the likes of mike miller and bibby, and they will win in the next couple of years anyways. Let's be a little more conservative than throwing money at a mediocre player (Bosh) that won't net us any more wins than our group had this year.

Didn't get it done, well, no one can argue that point. But won't get it done remains to be seen.

He definately is.

He was fantastic in Toronto and the best player they ever managed to put along side him was Bargnani, who frankly is not very good and is a terrible fit.

While Lebron and Wade were quietly choking away the finals, Bosh was shooting 7 for 9 in an elimination game with a positive +/-

He is no Howard, Durant or Paul but the guy is a solid 24 and 10 guy as a #1 with solid defense. He gets to the line often and makes them.

I think that ship has sailed, even if we get Bosh we'll still have that glaring hole at center

we'd have to gut our roster to get him and take in that trade kicker of his, suddenly hes not as appealing as the FA of last summer
