I'm not sure if you're actually allowed to trade your own draft pick, because I think you owe it to New Jersey, but it's lotto protected. So would you be able to trade the pick if you ended up in the lottery?
Either way, let's pretend it's possible. Do we have a deal?

I like McGee, but I like the idea of possibly having two first round picks (one in the lottery) next year much more.

Only if you throw in your 2012 unprotected 1st. heck, you can even keep McGee.

It's not possible and I wouldn't do it if it were.

Re: McGee for Knicks 2012 1st + Rockets 2012 1st?
i like mcgee(even though he's borderline (Please Use More Appropriate Word)) but no, even if we could
i would try and trick them into some kind of package centered around scola for him...he's a proven post scorer, a good teammate/leader,and would give the young kids there a mature veteran as an example
i know we would lose our best post scorer, but hopefully patterson develops a low-post game and morris' can do what he did in college in the pro's, despite his height
BUTTT their post d would SUCKK with blatche, scola, and kanter...so i doubt wiz would touch that

McGee doesn't even worth 1 lottery pick in the 2012 draft.
He's extremely talent, but I doubt he would ever develop into a star with his head.

Bet you McGee has a better career than Biyombo. (who you wanted the raps to take 5th apparently)
Wiz turned down the #2 pick in the draft this year to keep him.
2.4 blocks per game in only 28 minutes is very good.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
