I don't see how the NFL can possibly be the best American sports league.

You can't watch any action whatsoever without staring at a guy's ass for 10-45 seconds, and everything ends with a stack of sweaty fat hairy men laying on top of each other. It's ok for the stuff in-between, and I suppose for the video games (if you like sports games), but those are two pretty hefty knocks if you ask me. Unless you're Greek, anyway.

One bonus is that it's much easier to take a date to see a football game than a basketball game for the firstly-mentioned reasons, and sometimes passive-aggression release, but still.

It's boring as hell, but if MLB hadn't short-sightedly ruined itself with records chasing and being largely solved by stats and such, I'd have to go with it for its evocation of imaginary past simplicity.

As is, I'll stick with basketball, but it shouldn't be there.
