D-League

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Mon Jul 4, 2011 10:02 pm

Sorry if this has been covered, but how is the lockout going to affect the D-League? I'm guessing that a lot of the players in the D-League are part of the players association (defunct); but I have to imagine that there are some who are not. Will we still see D-League games played during the lockout with non-PA players?

The D-League will not be affected by the lockout. Their players aren't a part of the association until they get promoted to the big league. So yeah, D-Leaguers will still get paid and there will be games. But I assume that many of those players will look to head over to Europe or China if they suspect a full season lockout.

Very cool, TMU. Thanks!

Looks like I'll be watching some RGV Vipers!

There is actually.

All the games are broadcasted on the internet, except the ones that are on Versus.

I'm sure NBATV will be showing them since they won't have anything else other than NBA's Greatest
