Wiretap: Magic Seeking Veterans In Deal For Howard

Post#1 » by Zubby » Wed Dec 28, 2011 4:54 pm

I haven't been following that Howard situation seeing as how I've never heard our team as a possible destination...

Does Howard have a no trade clause or something? Why are those the 3 teams his agent said its ok to trade? I mean if ORL gonna trade him wtf do they care who he wants to play for, they have to do whats best for them.

Because those are them he will extend with which could keep other teams from trading for him. Although I heard they would trade for Melo and Paul without an extension so I am sure they would do the same for Howard if they could get him.

If you are talking about me I never said he would. I have said that there is no real way for Houston to get a superstar since it seems none of them have had Houston on their list. I said Morey would do the trade without an extension.

:begin pipe dream:

scola, martin, dragic for howard works. throw in a a pick. magic stay competitive, wont miss the playoffs in the east with the trade. martin >>>> any wing they have as long as hedo doesnt blow up like he did vs us the last game.

sammy d/hill/thabeet
howard/pat/morris/parsons
twill/bud/morris/parsons
lee/bud/twill
lowry/flynn

weak at the wings but not cuz of lee. he's can be a solid starter if his team has a star and/or shot blocking presence. need to do something there, still havent given up on morris. morey's a magician so i trust he'll do something.

pat becomes the 6th man, bud, twill can show if he's worth anythihg, hill can try to save his future by being a decent backup big. pat and lowry get more shots. i like it. though when lowry's contract is up we're gonna have to actually PAY HIM, but no problem with me at all. by that time moris could be a solid backup/starter.

Jordan 6 titles, Kobe 5 titles, Shaq 4 titles... It is pretty obvious all superstars want to win at least one. You know they are scared of being Malone or Barkley and not have a single title. Would they be happy with just one in today's game?

What if the NBA conspired to only give super teams two titles maximum? Not that they would ever do such a thing, but on a grand conspiracy scale... would it, given enough time, help give smaller markets a star player? Would players be less likely to want to team up because they are NOT seeing someone on their same level winning a 3rd or 4th title and they haven't won their first yet?

Do multiple titles help or hurt the stability of the NBA?

lolz no one answer my question...
Why does Howard get a pass when Bron, Bosh, Melo got soo much hate.
But yea if the want vets, i say give them half our roster take back Hedo & who ever else and bring in Hakeem along with McHale to make Howard stay.

WTF u talkin bout jts?

anyway I just think all the players just hate being on losing teams/teams with **** management.
They just want some help, as long as said team is competitive or they're in a city they like they're fine.

But Jordan winning 6 rings definitively helped the league...

Because people love him. Think of him as a good old boy. It has to be the smile

Z3snap wrote:Bron

Nobody went on that hate fest understood why he left but it was just the way he did. People even thought he gave up in his last game as a Cav.

Z3snap wrote:Bosh

Never say any hate towards him outside of Toronto

Z3snap wrote:Melo

He did it in season and Melo did not have that clean background like Howard. Also held the Nuggets hostage. Yes Dwight is doing the same but at least he came out and said he has demanded a trade instead of saying he never did any such thing like Melo
