Lowry should be named guard of the week or something if he plays like this tomorrow.

4 minutes
6 points(3/3)
2 rebounds(1 off/1 def)

Did that really happen? How?

I mean, did he look good doing it? Were they easy baskets and rebounds? That's a lot of production in only 4 minutes.

He's going to be a BEAST! MVP!!! He's DA BEAT!

Seriously tho....

Open Dunk, layup, layup in garbage time. Dont look into it.

Da beat will only see minute in blow outs. Hill and Dalembert are going to gobble all the minutes at C.

Thabeet looked really good out there actually, I don't see what value Jordan Hill adds that he doesn't. At least Thabeet is a big body who can occasionally block a shot and legitimately defend centers. I'd like to see him get about 12 mpg and see what he can do in a close game setting.

Terrence Williams is a baller. He had an off night, but I really like the way he's playing. His shooting has improved, his handles are gangster, and his court vision and passing are surprising. I really think he should be a SG on offense but he is so strong and athletic he can easily defend the small forward spot.

Budinger isn't doing anything out there. He fast enough or good enough dribbler to create his own shot....but he can't really be utilized off screens like Ray Allen because he can't shoot either. He is a good team player and can throw down dunks, but other than that I don't see what value he's adding.

I'd like to see this rotation when Patterson gets back.

PG - Lowry (34) Dragic (14)
SG - Martin (30) Lee (18)
SF - T.Williams (24) Budinger (12) Martin (4) Morris (8)
PF - Scola (32) Patterson (16)
C - Dalembert (24) Hill (12) Thabeet (12)

Of course this rotation can be adjusted depending on back to backs, like tonight. If they have games following each other then guys like Parsons, Morris, Thabeet, Lee, and Dragic should get more time. Overall I really like where our team is headed and there's no reason why we shouldn't be in the playoffs at seasons end.

btw
is Dalembert can't afford new shoes or what?
why he's the only one wearing white shoes in both games when everyone else is wearing black?

I thought TWill really moved the ball much better tonight, despite less "volume" stats. And, Dalemert has had more impact defensively than I expected, really altered shots when he came into the game.. And oh yeah, Lowry is just sick..

Not to mention, while part of it was SA just missing shots, we have to give credit to the defense too; held the Spurs to 37% from the field, and only 85 points (scored 115 on 56% last game).

Dalembert is a great player. But i hope we had him at his younger days. He was a beast when he was in the sixers. He is a shadow of his former self, older slower but more experienced. Less explosive equals to age and injuries but his length, size and experience makes up for it.

Great game by Scola, Kmart, Klow. And I like Parsons , he's moving well even though he's a rook. Very deep team... hit or miss by CourtneyLee, and Twill. Courtney lee will be more consistent of the two, he played some good D. But with the amazing skill/athleticism Twill has, his ego and selfishness will always set him back. Jordan Hill is still weak and lost at D.. Confused at offense. But he's serviceable. Hopefully we get Patrick Patterson back. Dragic looked good at times, and looked bad. Flynn is very good, definitely not a 3rd pg, but i wonder what happened to his athleticism during his rookie year.

I hope people won't use this game as a measuring stick because Spurs look like one of the worst teams in the NBA today .. RJ looked like homer simpson out there. Dejuan blair despite his great stats, is still overweight and slower. Duncan was shutdown by Dalembert of all players. Credit to Dalembert, but dalembert isn't the same player he was before.

Thabeet- IDK, he played 3 mins in garbage time. It's too little of a sample size to judge his improvement. He was just at the right place at the right time to pad up his stats. I wouldn't put thabeet ahead of JHill in terms of defense, aside from block shots, J hill at least can guard postup players to a degree.
