No we need a three team deal:
- Something that sends out that original Rockets package for Gasol.
- Brings in a young athletic good small forward that can hit the 3 (Derrick Williams whoever) for Martin.
- Gives the Lakers Dragic, that SF, a 1st, and Scola.
PG- Dragic, Fisher, Blake
SG- Bryant, Dragic
SF- Williams, Artest
PF- McRoberts, Scola
C- Bynum, McRoberts
From our end.

Wow you have Josh McRoberts starting ahead of Scola? Scola is 10x the player he is.
How do you propose to get Derrick Williams? What would Minny want?

Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

McRoberts will surprise you. That doesn't mean he's better though it's not for that reason. It's more based on spacing, off the ball movement, and athleticism. Most importantly though with McRoberts Kobe is posting up at the high elbow. With Scola he's taking defenses one-on-one outside.
I think they really like Kevin Martin.

Martin is not enough to get D.Williams yet. He was the 2nd pick after all. Yeah I know Thabeet was once the 2nd pick too but Memphis at least saw his production or lack thereof.
Scola has a great midrange game. He played just fine with McGrady posting up.
No coach would start McRoberts over him.

Mid-range isn't enough, you need a corner three and a wing three.

Re: Lakers and Rockets deal
Been thinking of this ...
Gasol, Ebanks, Goudelock, and Morris
for
Lowry, Martin, Thabeet, and Scola (seperate deal for TPE)
Houston saves 27 million, gets a more McHale-like post presence in Gasol, and gets a prospect at PG (Morris), SG (Goudelock), and SF (Ebanks).
PG - Dragic - Morris - Flynn
SG - Lee - Goudelock
C - Hill - Dalembert
PF - Gasol - Patterson
SF - Budinger - Williams - Ebanks
If you want to hold on to Martin, that is doable as well (I wouldn't, if I were the Rockets--Lee is more than capable of taking all of his minutes).
