cmon, plz dont tell me you think he's a better player overall than hayes? shot blocking was the only thing keeping us out the playoffs last season. we didnt need a great big man defender, just shot blocking. no team is getting to the playoffs w/o shot blocking, especially in the west.
shot blocking...dalembert > hayes
overall...hayes > dalembert
In short...

I dont wtf this overall player stuff your talking bout means.. Bball is a 5v5 game.
Yes Chuck is an amazing man defender, he is quick and anticipates well, but Dalmbert just absorbs spaces complete game changer...
Lets see
1.Man/Post Defense:
Hayes > Dalembert(slight edge to Hayes)
2.Rebounding/Boxing out:
Hayes > Dalembert
3.Shooting:
Hayes < Dalembert
4.Blocking
Hayes < Dalembert
5.Help Defense:
Hayes < Dalembert
6.Post Offense:
Hayes < Dalembert(slight edge to Dalmbert)
7.Passing:
Hayes > Dalembert(slight edge to Hayes)
8.Bball Iq:
Hayes > Dalembert
9. Size:
Hayes < Dalembert
All I know is that if you gave all 30 teams a choice between Dalembert and Hayes as a starter... all 30 would pick Dalembert. Which would make him the more valuable/better player.
