cmon, plz dont tell me you think he's a better player overall than hayes? shot blocking was the only thing keeping us out the playoffs last season. we didnt need a great big man defender, just shot blocking. no team is getting to the playoffs w/o shot blocking, especially in the west.

overall...hayes > dalembert

While that may be true hayes has limitations that are out of his control. Overall hayes is a better but dallys impact>hayes due to height.

scola's been rebounding like a wuss since the season started. his overall game has been lagging. he needs to get back to his 18/8 numbers

im not saying hayes' impact is better. i'm only talking about their individual skills. height + shotblocking is huge in this league i know that, i been saying that forever. if i had to choose hayes or dalembert, i'd choose both.

Yes Chuck is an amazing man defender, he is quick and anticipates well, but Dalmbert just absorbs spaces complete game changer...

All I know is that if you gave all 30 teams a choice between Dalembert and Hayes as a starter... all 30 would pick Dalembert. Which would make him the more valuable/better player.

value doenst always mean better. different players have different values for teams. in this league, as i said before, a shot blocking presence is always gonna be more valuble then what hayes can offer.
