Crazy Trade, Makes sense for most teams, Probobly never even consider happening, but fun to talk about none the less. Between Houston, Orlando, OKC, and Phily
Houston:
Gives: Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Kyle Lowry, Courtney Lee, Marcus Morris, Chase Budinger, Hasheem Thabeet and 12 1st Round Pick
Gets, Andre Iguodala, JJ Redick Russel Westbrook, Big Baby, and James Harden
Orlando:
Gives: Dwight Howard, Big Baby and JJ Redick
Gets: Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Hasheem Thabeet, Kendrick Perkins and OKC 12 1st Round Pick
Oklahoma City:
Gives: Russel Westbrook, James Harden, and Kendrick Perkins 12 1st Round Pick
Gets: Dwight Howard, Kyle Lowry, and Courtney Lee
Philidelphia:
Gives: Andre Iguodala
Gets: Marcus Morris, Chase Budinger, and Houston's 12 1st Round Pick
The Why:
Houston: Gives them a star in westbrook plus 2 solid starters in Iguodala and Harden plus a solid role player off the bench in Redick, the team ditches some of its older players for younger ones and finally gets a star to build around. Westbrook can be the first option like he wants, Iggy can do what he does best, everything except be the go to scorer, and play the 3. also improves houstons defense by dumping martin and scola, anybody is better on defense really...
Orlando: They have said they want veteran players in return for Dwight so that they can stay competitive and compete, Scola and Martin make up for the scoring they lose with dwight and Perkins fills the hole they would have at Center plus the extra draft picks allows them to help rebuild when they finally admit they have to.
OKC: They do this because, do they need an explanation? they get Dwight freaking Howard. Plus Kyle Lowry who can go back to being a true point guard and run that offense, good pick and roll with dwight plus hitting Durantula at will. while they lose a star in westbrook they needed someone who fits better with Durant, and lowry can score a bit too so that gives them a solid 3rd option at a very reasonable contract who is also young and they become a dynasty.
Philidelphia: Ill admit this one is a stretch, Iggy has been on and off the trade block for a while now and yes they are off to a good start but I figure they shed the Salary, get a few young players, a draft pick or 2, plus this allows them to start evan turner and give more minutes to him and thaddeus young, and when Brand comes off the books all their large contracts will be gone and they are free to do what they will with draft picks and a bunch of young players.
All in all good trades for all teams and yes i realize there would need to be some fillers here and there to make it work, maybe exchange a few other players but thats the basic outline i came up with.
Houston Lineup:
PG Westbrook/Dragic/Flynn
SG Harden/Reddick
SF Iggy/Parsons/Williams
PF Big Baby/Patterson/Adrien
C Dalembert/Hill
Orlando Lineup:
PG Nelson/Duhon
SG Martin/J Rich
SF Turk/Q Rich
PF Scola/Anderson/Orton
C Perkins/Thabeet
OKC Lineup:
PG Lowry/Maynor
SG Sefolosha/Lee
SF Durant/Hayward
PF Ibaka/Collison
C Howard/Aldrich/Mohammed
Philly Lineup:
PG Williams/Holiday
SG Turner/Meeks
SF Young/Buddinger
PF Brand/Morris/Allen
C Hawes/Vucevic/Battie
Oklahoma City becomes Freaking Scary, Houston becomes really interesting and kind of a wild card, Orlando makes its own mess because they won't decide to rebuild immediately and will be what the Rockets have been the past few years if they are lucky, except will make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed, and Philly can pretty much do whatever they want and be a tough out for anybody.
What does everyone think??

Re: Crazy Trade Idea
sorry but not going to happen
Philly is balling now they are not going to make big change to their team
only seeing Houston and OKC improving
noway Orlando is going to trade Howard for those pieces

Even I think this is crazy lol.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Re: Crazy Trade Idea
Orlando gets nothing for Howard. All they do is get older and can not unload Turk.

Re: Crazy Trade Idea
Also Orlando would seemingly become the worst defensive team in the NBA

Re: Crazy Trade Idea
Before I comment know I enjoy reading and thinking about crazy trade ideas like this
So okc only gives Westbrook but gets an arguable better fit for the team in lowry? Harden but get a quality Sg in lee Perkins and upgrade huge in Howard? And what is amounting to the last pick of the first round? HAHAHA that is beyond insane, but it benefits us pretty well since we get harden russel and iggy, even though I don't think they'd fit well together.
Philly gets screwed, but orlando gets destroyed.
But I love reading these nba 2k12 trades man, they're fun to think about
