All-Star Game back in Houston!

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Tue Feb 7, 2012 11:54 pm

It becomes officially official tomorrow. Stern is going to be in town to award Houston the ASG.

Despite the announcement I'm guessing that he gets booed!

I don't care about the game. I like the festivities surrounding it!

Chandler Parsons will be an all star next year. JK. well maybe in the dunk contest.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

David Stern referred to Houston as the "Basketball Capitol of the World" in today's announcement. From what some people I know with the Rockets say as far as Stern is concerned Houston will probably get the event once every 5 or 6 years. :D

Is parsons not gonna be in the rook/soph game? I looked at some list and he wasn't on it. I kno he shoots free throws like shaq but I think he deserves to be in the game.

Is it that he lacks a big name? Or am I a homer?

It's no longer rookies vs sophomores.

each team will have 9 players. Shaq will coach one team and Barkley will coach the other. there will be a "draft"

the list of players eligible to be drafted is supposed to be released today. players will either be rookies or sophomores but the teams can contain both.

I think this is a dumb change.

I want to see a team of rookies vs a team of 12+ year veterans

I've heard the change, but there's supposed to be the same number of rookies and sophomores right? They just get mixed up. I just figured he would be the only guy representing us that weekend.

Lowry should but I hope he doesn't. He would probably go all out 150% and be tired the next few games

Ohhh thanks for that list. Thats the same as I read earlier I guess when u look at it it's tough to put parsons over anyone on it

Just the motivation I need to come to America in 2013. See a regular season game or 2, go to the all star game as well.
