Re: Morey on Lin
i don't really care what team Lin play for
i wish him do well
bad thing is he's helping NYK win and that' not helping the Rockets for the pick
if he's still here he wont even see garbage time playing behind Lowry, Dragic, Flynn

Re: Morey on Lin
Flynn's and Williams's take on Lin and his success.
============================================================
Jonny Flynn, the third point guard the Rockets kept when they released Lin, said Lin has shown what can be achieved with the right opportunity at the right time. But forward Terrence Williams said he could not derive hope for himself from Lin’s success.
Things might have worked out spectacularly well for Lin, but Williams — who began the season in the rotation but has played in just two of the past 23 games since being dropped from the rotation — could not get past the rarity of Lin’s triumph over long odds.
But Flynn hoped Lin’s success demonstrates some players need nothing as much as opportunity.

Terrence Williams wrote:“Every story don’t end like that. There’s only one Jeremy Lin. You can think about being patient and hopefully having a great outcome, but like I said, there’s only one Jeremy Lin story.
I’m going to leave regardless. I’m not re-signing here. Come the end of the season, I won’t be back here regardless, so whether it is leaving now or leaving later, I’m not going to be here at the end of the day. It’s not for me to say (whether he leaves by the March 15 trade deadline or as a free agent.). That’s for the guys that are supposedly in the office making decisions. Whatever. If they need me here, of course I’ll stay here for my team. It’s apparent that I’m not needed here at all.”
But Flynn hoped Lin’s success demonstrates some players need nothing as much as opportunity.
Johnny Flynn wrote:“That’s what this league is about. This league is about opportunity and timing. He got the opportunity at the right time and ran with it. It shows you, there are people in this league that can play basketball no matter what they go through. You just have to be ready when your time comes. The league is about being in the right place, the right situation at the right time. You could see he’s a good player. His IQ, he could play well on the pick-and-roll. It’s not a surprise for me he’s doing what he’s doing.”
