I like getting shot at. That's why... I've been shot at.

(Actually, that was from driving around Greenspoint at 1am looking for tampons for my friend, but in my book, having a .45 punch through glass 6" from my head grants rights to slight metaphorical exaggerations :) which isn't to say that I don't enjoy saying remarks that would have qualified for the distinction were it prior to 1983 in pasadena / 1975 rest of texas)

Jeremy would've never gotten playing time behind Lowry and Dragic. Linsanity would've never happened if he was still with the Rox or GS.

Jeremy Lin is amazing. He just outplayed Kyrie Irving today. 19 pts 13 assists 5 rebounds.Tremendous stats for someone whos being paid lower than the vets minimum.

you don't think Irving will do better than Lin if he had Melo, Amare, and Chandler?

Jamison played better than Amare last night.
Cavs led by 17 in the first half.
Steve Novak was the one who brought the Knicks back to win the game.
He had 5 three pointers in 5 minutes.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Irving had 22, 7 asts and 3 rebounds so he had a decent game too. However, Lin only had 1 turnover to Irving's 4 and Lin shot 50% to Irving's 44% so yeah Lin had the better night.

Baron Davis came off the bench for NY and had 8 assists and 0 turnovers in only 14 minutes.
So with Lin and Davis, does NY have the best point guard duo in the league (since Billups is out for the year)?

Chris Paul still has Mo Williams and Randy Foye.

Denver has Ty Lawsom and Andre Miller.

Ours doesn't suck too bad either :)

Yes exactly. Ask knicks fans when the last time Amare had a good game for the knicks. Plus if you're in a bad team. There's more opportunity to score. But I like Ky Irving. He's a good baller too.

And i knew BD still had it. He was a good passer even at his first game back. Plus he lost a tremendous amount of weight.

lolz at the band-wagoners now saying CLE = NYK
gtfo!
CLE were the worst team in the league last year! NY have multiple stars, ok they are playing .500 but thats on the coach.

Not to mention it was CLE 2nd game on a back to back... Why do the people that always excuse Rubio and now Lin, bash on Irving? ITS BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!!!

I watched that game, and NY bench won that game, Novak, Davis, Smith & Jefferies, Shum...
After the bench ran up the score & won the game that starters came back in and just ran it up more jacking shoots with 20 secs left on the clock.

Jamison was horrible 2nd half, Irving was the only player on that team worth a damn, and when NY made their run and Irving got back in CLE lineup looked like Irving playing with 4 Kev Martins in the 4th quarter.

Please let this foolish thread die!!! Don't need to see an update on how you feel about said player after every game... aznkillabeezZz

Go join the Knicks board  yea i said it

Irving, Rubio, and Lin are all good (Wall sucks, though), but NY's real stars are all underpaid and playing behind a pair of 15+m benchwarmers with good marketing.
I laughed at your suggestion btw.

Since Lin is no longer a member of the Houston Rockets, we need to end this discussion. I think we've covered everything that needs to be said about him. Any subsequent threads about Jeremy Lin without having any relevance to the Houston Rockets (i.e. bitching and whining about how the Rockets released him; we've already beat the dead horse) will result in an automatic lock.
