They do have the 29th pick but c'mon Noah is a very good starting center.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Re: Lowry wants to leave Houston
he's def a top 5-7 center maybe better, no doubt. but i think the contract, talent and potnetial lowry still has, and dalembert's cheap expiring contract for a center, is just a little too much. i wouldnt be disappionted if that trade went down, but we need to get some kind of useful filler back. we can trade the 29th and the other 2 picks for a top 5 pick.

Oh for fuks sake.
Lowry is our best player so if it's between him and the coach you side with him. But i don't like that attitude.

Re: Lowry wants to leave Houston
Lowry is just saying what seems to be lined up in the cards. We've already said we'll try to resign Dragic and he's among the biggest priorities this off-season; we don't want to lose him for nothing, and it's unlikely we'd actually get value for him in a sign and trade. And if we value them roughly the same, we can get much more value for Lowry to hopefully address our center need.

No way are you getting Gortat for Lowry. I think it'll be hilarious if you get Gasol for him, but I doubt it. I hope it happens though.

This was only a matter of time.
Been saying for a while that Lowry is the logical piece to move, because something like this was coming.

Lowry is one of my favorite players in the League right now. But I'm not a player fan, I'm a Rockets fan. If he doesn't want to be here, I don't want him here. Thanks for making the decision for us.

pretty much how I feel. To whoever mentioned gortat who cares. Gortat is another player people on this board "love" because he's not a big name, doesn't get paid to much and he contributes. He wouldn't do anything for our team other than get us the 7th or 8th spot. Anyways, what is the NBA coming to when players like lowry who aren't superstars and not even top 5 at their own position are basically "demanding" things get done. SMH....

No interest in Babbitt. Already have Parsons and Budinger.
Like I said earlier. Lowry + #14 for #6 and #11 seems fair.

I know this will get rejected but Collison or Hill plus Tyler and the Pacers first for Lowry.

That's really not a horrible deal if it didn't leave us with 3 guaranteed draft picks. We'd have probably #14, #16, and #20? and have to figure out how to move one or more of them.
What exactly is the point of it though?
Morey 2020.

Collision is a good piece when he was playing in New Orleans. Now he's a bit superfluous in a half court offense. Those are good pieces for Lowry. I will do the trade on the contingency that we find happy homes for Martin and probably Courtney Lee as well...

Pacers have 26th pick.
Collison would be a nice, very cheap backup for Dragic. (His steal on Lebron was amazing)
Hansboough brings some nice hustle but a PF who shoots 40% and is not a stud rebounder?
How about Lowry for Paul George straight up?

Now THAT TRADE I would like. Good trade for both sides...
