OFFENSE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHTEOUS.

LET LIN RUN IT ~ AND FEED HARDEN - AND LET HARDEN PLAY OFF OF LIN AND TAKE IT TO THE SLAMJAMA OR Force Lin to Score.

Do you seriously need Harden turning over the ball 5+ times a game? How about we just give the opposing the team the ball 20 times before you actually give them a chance to run???

SOMEONE SHOOT ME NOW.

YES.. I agree, let Lin initiate the offense, instead of stand in the corner and do nothing. Play our rookies.

we don't have enough 3 pt shooters to make d'antoni happy...would be fun, though

McHale has a horrible offense scheme... Last year we ran a lot of Adelman's... But now all Adelman's players are gone, and we have no shooters for McHales style.

And yes Lin does run the offense half the time he just looks clueless half the time and the other half he looks pretty damn good... Lin's ball iq is crazy overrated
He is like a poor mans Westbrook with his lapses in concentration.

I've been a little concerned about our offensive packages, but I like McHale and trust he'll adapt to what works. Just give him a few more weeks before jumping off the wagon!

McHale: "Jeremy I want you to look clueless on the court at times..."
Lin:"Sure thing coach!"

In a recent game Lin makes nice drive when he sees floor open up...
Very next play he tries to throw a lob pass to Asik when he is surrounded by three defenders.(That is a low bball iq play)

Its a dead horse but he nor Harden are gonna be any good if we the team isnt hitting outside shots

4th Q vs Trail Blazers - with super hot LMA/Batum/Ballsy Lillard...

Our offense transformed into the 4 guys watch 1 guy dribble team.. it was painful to watch.

The worst was when it was under 2 minutes, Harden burned almost the entire shot clock dribbling and dribbling and - getting super flashy attempting to create space.. and then felll.... backwards and to the left.... while Jeremy was watching from his designated - spotup shooter spot in the corner.. and you know the rest.

You can feel the offense just stall completely and begin to get cold.

Guys got hot on the opposing team - all you can really do at that point is to make sure you score every shot you make, and you put some more pressure on the guys that are hot. Rotating double/triple teams and not giving them open space to catch and shoot.

Hope so - they have to play 4 quarters, not 3 and then shift to the same old in the 4th Quarter.

Its getting old to hear Sampson say - " ... I thought it was a better matchup ... "

0 pts 0 assists is not a better matchup a loss = loss.

Tired of losing all these close games when we should be finishing.

Thankfully its all happening at the beginning of the season.

mchale is a good motivator and player developer, but he's not a great strategic coach or offensive coach. We went from having the most fluid offense, to a very bad one last year. This year , Harden is pretty much our whole offense starter and creater because he's that good.

I think that Lin shouldn't be standing around too, his game is run and gun. He's looks weak and out of his game. Its easier for him in ny because most of his pick and roll plays are finished. Here asik fumbles the ball all the time, and chandler misses his layups. Patrick patterson is not a great pick and roll guy either or great near the basket.

We're still incorporating new plays into the offense because of all the fresh faces. Once we have a full playbook and better chemistry is when you can judge them. Did you guys not notice the fewer turnovers we've been having?

Totally! Although Harden was only down -1 from his average of 5. (high is 6)

I'm a supporter of giving not only the players - BUT the coaches, more time. Although I still don't agree with Kelvin Sampson's preference for Toney Douglas. The stats don't support his decisions - have not supported them in ANY loss OR win. Its not personal - I just have disliked how all these losses are a direct result of coaching moving away from what we had in places in Preseason & Game 1, Game 2.
