11/18 SUNDAY Post-Game v Lakers 108-119 Loss

Post#1 » by kinein » Mon Nov 19, 2012 4:56 am

Lost to the new Showtime Run&Fun Lakers.

This is going to be a yearly challenge to take them on. Feel free to discuss.

Lin's poor shooting.
Harden's momentum killing turnovers.

Inability for other players to pick-up the transition passes.

Droughts in the 3rd quarter.

Poor shooting by Rockets.

POSITIVES? 1st Half keeping up with Lakers 60-68

- Give the Rockets more time.
- Asik's offense was down this time around, and he got hammered in the face with a D12 elbow.
- Lakers were hitting 67-68% in the 1st half and it carried over to the 3rd Quarter.

- Our offense stalled after half-time and never came back. 3rd quarter Rockets let Lakers set the tempo.
- Kobe did a huge job facilitating - triple double performance.
- They let the ball find the best shot under their new offense.

- We had a bad 3rd quarter where we couldn't keep up anymore - there were series of bad posessions that put us deeper into the whole.

- Surrendered early in the 4th. Utah game tomorrow was probably one of the biggest reasons why Sampson pulled the starters off the floor.
