Last Hurdle

Post#1 » by M4P » Sat Mar 23, 2013 11:34 pm

SAS, IND, @MEM, LAC [B2B]

Followed by...

vs Orlando
@ Sacramento
@ Portland
@ Denver
vs Phoenix
vs Memphis
vs Sacramento
@ Phoenix [B2B]
@ L.A. Lakers

After those initial four games, the Rockets' should be able to close out the season strong. Where do you guys think we will or should end up?

Last season was seemingly a playoff opportunity for the Rockets, before they dropped 8 straight games to end the season. History better not repeat.

i expect us to go 1-3 this week, which is ok when u look at the opponents. after this week there's 4 games again but 3 vs losing records, ends with denver on a b2b. 3-1 that week

W vs Orlando
W @ Sacramento
W @ Portland
L @ Denver
W vs Phoenix
L vs Memphis
W vs Sacramento
W @ Phoenix [B2B]
W @ L.A. Lakers

rockets are gonna finish the season strong! bring it every single game in april. mchale will put his random number generator away and use his head for the rotations. harden wont go 5 straight possessions with iso ball if he's bricking. the bench will be consistent for the most part. dmo and robinson will get better with time as they've shown this past week.

There's no such team as "losing teams" towards the end of the season. These folks would like to be spoilers, so Rockets better watch out.

We gotta play well, and have a little luck with games too, (GS Losing, LA losing, Utah Sucking also.) There is no reason we can't compete for 6th seed. Denver will be tough also, it would be nice to get a win there.

Yeah, this is the big stretch run of the season. If this team believes that it is a playoff team then it is going to have to beat teams like this over the next few games.

Who knows? All I know is that the Rockets will lose some games that they should win, and win some games they should lose.

Pacers and Grizzlies seem like they're doable since the Pacers are going to be at Houston and the Grizzlies will be without Gasol... but with how up and down this team is, we may end up losing all of them.

I think we go 3 - 1 though. We got this.

Last night showed a lot and that was probably the best team d we've played all year. I really hope we catch the Warriors because I think we can actually make some noise then... 2-2

Which team do you want to see the Rockets play the most in the first round?

I really want us to matchup against the grizzlies. I think we can take them on. The Spurs would be my 2nd pick.
I just feel that LAC and OKC would heavily have the refs favoring them on their side.
