Carl Landry
I just saw that he is expected to opt out, and test free agency.
Just sayin, that is all.
Landry back in Rockets red, solves our problem at PF.
And it makes me happy as well.
Do it Morey.

Re: Carl Landry
If Landry is opting out he's probably trying to gun for that last big paycheck. I doubt that the Rockets would be able to afford him if they're looking to land Dwight + another max FA.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Re: Carl Landry
Morey has said that he will not get anyone who will stunt the growth of our young developing players. In my mind I think that means that if he gets a PF, it will have to be a multi-position guy like Josh Smith.
13 minutes at SF
22 minutes at PF
That leaves 26 minutes for the back-up PF. But if we get a guy like Landry, that would leave only 13 minutes for the back-up PF.
With all that being said, Dwight and Chris Paul are the main two targets. Josh Smith is a questionable plan B (I say questionable because we might not sign him at all unless we can get him for around $12 million, which we probably won't).

I could see kam razing entire villages of women and children to the ground if it removed a barrier to Landry's return.

Dude, I could see him moving additional women and children (and a lot of puppies, kittens and little fluffy bunnies) into those villages just to raise the numbers in order to make his point.

You think he'd evict a building full of orphans out of Donald Sterling's next real estate development to get the clips to sign on as a third party?

Re: Carl Landry
I would just stop short of an act of terrorism if it meant Landry back. But believe it or not, I raise this from a practical point of view. We will not get CP3 and I hope we don't get the Dwightmare. Josh Smith is not worth a Max contract, and we all know I will not accept Paul Milsap, (or any other Dallas/Utah tainted players!) I just think now, more than ever. That Landry's game would work well with our team. I see it as a legit option once the FA circus has sold some newspapers, and got Houston excited, only to get passed on as always.
So my only question is, who or what do I have to obliterate from existence, to make this happen??

I think they're about the same.
Milsap is the better rebounder and defender and is 1.5 years younger.
Landry has an advantage of being more efficient offensively, costs half as much, and has never played for Utah.
I don't believe it's possible to be forced to be around Carlos Boozer with no option to punch him in the face and not experience a permanent degradation of character.

I think this is kam. It took place at a rugby match in New Zealand, which is close enough to Australia.

Have to correct you there, I'm 6'7"
Marmite is for the Poms, Vegiemite is Australian. (And I think axel grease tastes better.)
I agree on the rest.

Close enough, standing reach is more important anyway!
