my guess is Morey can't find any taker for Smith so he decided to waive Camby
i don't think Morey has plan to trade Asik this season anyway
Morey is more concern on Howard health than trading Asik for PF

my guess is Morey can't find any taker for Smith so he decided to waive Camby

I doubt they're considering cutting Smith...Camby was a no brainer...when you're injured with that type of injury and old, you're likely out...i suspect williams will be next....no reason to cut smith since asik or howard might get injured, thus smith will be a backup in that case.

btw, rockets practice is streaming now...players running lap end of court and stretching out. Harden looks fine out there.

i don't know how much it got to do with injured but Smith in horrible in preseason
nothing but foul machine
i just think Morey consider cutting him because he suck and $0 guaranteed money
if he can trade him for future 2nd pick it will be great but Camby can't play so he may decide to keep him for insurance
