Official 2013-'14 Rocket's Opening day roster

My body is ready.

-I really hope the coaching staff cuts down on Harden's minutes. There's no need to play him 38 mins a game in the regular season with this roster. Bring is down to the 35-ish range. He wore down during the stretch run last year. Hopefully cutting his workload will also allow him to focus a bit more on defense.

-I have been and am still neutral on who starts at PG. At the end of the day I'm fairly confident Bev and Lin will roughly around 30 mins/gm. I suspect, given McHale's track record, will continue to have different line-ups close out games.

-Still very skeptical of our PFs. How long can we wait for them to develop. I hope Casspi gets some burn at PF. I believe Casspi and Garcia will be duking it out for minutes as the season goes on.

-Where does Greg Smith fit into all of this? I never liked Smith at C, but PF is a possibility.

each starter should avg only 30min/game so they can be ready and fresh for the playoffs...now if they are in a tight game, then i can see who ever is playing well, get additional minutes in crunch time.

I'm curious about that one, too. If Jones/Casspi end up manning the PF slot along Asik, Smith is going to end up being rotated out. He is definitely a nice trade piece at that point. I still think we'd be doing ourselves a disservice if we got rid of him.

im getting a sense that dmo and tjones(injury aside) are gonna be on the bench longer than i expected...even less minutes...hopefully they're not really forgotten.

I saw it on the crawl on NBA TV this afternoon. I think it was expected.
Hopefully they get some actual playing time soon.
