Howard will look good against most teams that play him 1 on 1.

Good to see us bounce back. I think Dwight and Harden were ashamed of themselves after the Clippers game. I look forward to the next one.

Good win. Our defense was good in that third quarter...and we answered every run after we took control of the game. Harden was great besides the TO's. His defense was better after that first quarter where I was getting nightmares of that Clippers game. Beverely was awesome off the bench....I love the aggressiveness that he plays with. I thought Lin played a good game too. He played a solid floor game, and IMO, besides a couple mistakes going under in the first quarter, I thought his defense was FANTASTIC on Lillard.
Parsons needs to find his shot man. He had some good looks. It looks like he's measuring it again. What's he from three now on the season?
And damn Casspi man. I didn't realize how quick he was....he's actually pretty darn effective getting by his man and being able to finish with that little push shot. And he competed defensively.
I still dunno bout Asik/Howard, but the potential for stretches is certainly there. Asik came to play in that third quarter, and I still stand by the idea that Asik's defensive stretches in the Utah and Charlotte games were huge catalysts for our game winning runs. That's invaluable, imo. I wouldn't trade Asik for Ryno, or even consider it, tbh.

I didn't even mention Dwight. He was fantastic...I actually thought we saw some shades of that in that LAC game during the second half...where Dwight was making nice moves, and making things happen by drawing fouls and getting into the paint. He also exhibited some good patience.
We still turn the ball over too damn much though. But the Harden/Howard combo really worked well tonight despite the 14 combined turnovers. We need to run more pick/screen and rolls, imo. That's been incredibly effective when we've gone to it...at least from what I've seen, I don't know the actual stats.
/end post padding. Someone else post.

Yeah, I meant moreso in the perspective of before the season started. He's been driving by his man and finishing with that shot since pre-season. It's a nice added surprise for sure. I thought he'd be better with our team (not that it's saying much, since he was awful the past couple season), but I definitely didn't think he'd be doing more things than just spotting up from the corner. Rebounding, making plays off the dribble...good stuff.

both of them on the road too in hostile arenas.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I liked Dwight in the post today... but I dont want to see him in the post if he has a bigger man on him...
I would rather like to see the Pick & Roll with Harden... in that scenario

i wonder if asik gets practice in practice by guarding casspi or something.....that would help his D against some stretch 4s and he did a very good job on LMA.
