Doesn't matter if Lin or Bev is starting, the offense is still going to look terrible. With the twin towers our offense consists of Dwight post-ups (bad), contested jumpers (bad), and driving into traffic (bad). The only time our offense looked fluid out there was I think two or three times I saw a play called out of a timeout where Dwight drove it off the elbow and then dumped it to Asik for a dunk, but this isn't something you can base an offensive scheme around.

I'm still very skeptical over D-Mo, he hasn't shown me anything in the preseason in terms of improvement. TJones showed some improvement I thought, but I don't think he's ready for heavy minutes. I really want to see Greg Smith in there at PF. If you can't make Greg Smith work at the 4, who is 1000x the offensive player that Asik is, then it pretty much means you have to have a stretch 4 so at least we get some clarity there.

That's why we need to get both these cats on the floor at least in limited time. Let them get comfortable to the brighter lights.

We gave up a lot to get D-Mo. Mirotic is probably the best player in Europe. We paid Jonny Flynn to do nothing for almost a whole season. Our other first rounder in that draft was a bust (Marcus Morris)

It's also important for TJones to succeed since Royce was a bust too.

Not really true. Practice 5x5 is a step below preseason which is a step below regular season which is a step below postseason.

The thing is, these guys have already seen the floor in previous action but with the addition of Howard at 4 and Casspi, neither guy is getting much of a look.

I think if the Rockets plan on keeping Asik, we'll see D-Mo and Jones traded and the team is currently evaluating the effectiveness of retaining Asik.
