Rockets fan is rose's injury woes reminsicent of tmac/yao

Post#1 » by RSCD3_ » Sat Nov 23, 2013 5:55 pm

Two or three good years followed by repeted injuries.

Im just wondering because i havent seen such an explosive player go down on a championship level team since that time.

In hindsight few would want tmac as a centerpiece because of his injuries woes but when the first one's happened did you feel like once he recovered he would be fine.

How long did it take before you lost optimism in his health and he became injury prone.

Is rose on the same path?

Actually, Rose is reminding me of Grant Hill.

It will be tough for Bulls fans...the ups and downs...hopefully, he can recover from this latest injury...if he does and another injury occurs, it might be best the Bulls cut ties with him...a buyout or something...you don't want to go through what the Rockets had to go through with Yao and TMac for 5 yrs or so.

Trade Asik for D.Rose? ;)

Maybe it's the shoes? People blamed Reebok for Yao's injuries. Rose (and Dwight!) are with Adidas who now owns Reebok.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

That's a more appropriate comparison, I'm afraid.

Well Hill came back to be a productive player at least. Not his original superstar self for sure but starter material. Chicago not having much luck with their highly drafted point guards (Jay Williams)

I think Rose will come back but he'll have to change his game. Drive less and shoot more from the outside, he will still have athleticism. Play more like a traditional PG, which is not the end of the world.

Anyone remember Heinrich in his prime?

I figure... if he had such a hard time coming back last year... this time around he will be mentally shot
