JVG is still likely to be in the lead for next head coach of Rox if McHale is no longer the coach. JVG still has ties with the Rockets and a very good relationship with Morey/Les still and lives in Houston.

If it aint JVG, don't be surprised if SVG gets the job.

So whose fault was it when Yao and TMac were always hurt?

Chinese National basketball team for Yao obviously, for Tmac there's a lot to go around, the dude played 40mpg from his Orlando days to his early Rockets days, though the primary one seem to be on Doc Rivers. Yao more than anyone else, is a classic case of why you can't overplay guys. It's not just NBA minutes , he plays non stop in the off season too.

Injuries can be just fluke accidents too. Look at Greg Oden. He was not a high minutes player when he got hurt.
I don't know why you would bring up Deng's near death experience. It had nothing to do with a basketball injury.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Yes, some injury are fluke, but there are obviously factors that doesnt' help, it's like some guys smoke everyday and live 100 , some never do and die of a Heart attack at 40, these things happen, that doesn't justify the conclusion of smoking is not bad or even good for your health.

Deng's near death experience was a diease that he had for most of the season all the while leading the league in minutes per game, you think those 2 had no serious correlation? forget about serious illness, even if you just play with a cold like that it's pretty scary.

Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

He was sick and they thought it was meningitis so the hospital did a spinal tap and messed it up.

The next hiring will prove pivotal for this organization. I hope they get it right. And if they don't, let's hope they can admit they were wrong and right the course.

As far as I'm concerned, Morey's obligation to Ainge has now effectively expired. Hire a real coach and win a championship.

if you want to win you want coach that can make game time adjustment
both VG are not good at it
Rick Carlisle is actually pretty good

I'm comfortable just giving the keys to Sampson.

Yes and he was also NBA Coach of the Year 3 seasons ago.
