BS report: Houston Rockets and trading Asik And Lin.

Asik is a goner for sure. Lin, probably not since he is still valuable to the team. I now think 80% that Lin stays, there's always a chance but not likely.

Lin fans, myself included have to realize that as long as Lin is not complaining about his role, he is still an asset to the team and valuable to McHale's system. No matter how much we think it's unfair to him, Lin is embracing his role so there's no real problem there.

I think Lin stays as well unless they can get a significant shooter and/or need the contract for a more premiere player.

Asik is actually more valuable than Lin for the team (basketball reason)
just that Asik isn't playing with all his heart out there kind of suck
finance wise Lin is more valuable
it depends how much Les value the Asia market
if Morey can get a star in return obviously he has to trade Asik+Lin to match the contract
who's available? don't know
but i feel it will be one trade involve Asik before 12/19 and another one involve Lin and those we got in Asik trade before trade deadline

I think Morey could get a fine player for Asik + Lin + Jones + Picks

Don't forget that Lin becomes invaluable if either Harden or Parsons get injured. Morey realizes that Lin is one of the few guys on the team that can create his own shot so I don't think he'd be too quick to deal him.

Beverley is a nice fit with the starters when we have all of our weapons in gear but we saw what happened without Parsons and Lin, all they had to do was zero in on Harden and we're done.
