FIRE SAMPSON

Post#1 » by WhyISO » Fri Dec 13, 2013 2:50 pm

Yesterday's game was a perfect example of why Sampson has NO BUSINESS being in a NBA basketball court. Parson on Mo? Harden on Mo? Lin playing corner ball all night.

Howard impressed me with his soft touch yesterday. Working with the glasss like it was an old friend from a happier time.

He was good. It was obviously going to take some time to get his touch in Houston, but it's starting to show which is great.

Sampson is a certified LOH. bet he's the mastermind of the Lin benching. too bad Lin didn't sulk ala Asik and made hay which probably irks him no end.

Sampson is a joke. May be Morey pay him peanut to be Houston assist coach.

If they want Harden be the ball handle. There will be problem for Houston. Because court vision is not something you can teach and learn in short period of time(say 2 years). This is the reason Beverley and Brook can not initiate the offense. Lin has the talent and he learn that since he is junior high and keep improve.

Lin does not mess with this team, he is too much of a team players. If he want to be respected in this coach staff, he need to do what Harden and Howard do, just demand the damn ball. Do you see Harden or Howard fight or run around to get the ball. NO. They just stood there, put up their hand, like magic, the ball lands on their hand. ISO and shoot the damn ball.

The dude can play, but 15 minutes?
C'mon Sampson! Bev is a poor offensive (statistically proven) player and Harden is all about Hero ball.

You know who can coach and who can't in this league by how the offense operates. Iso ball is a clear sign of that. Sampson is a classic, ISO ball coach. He's got NOTHING up there in his head. My gosh, he sucks.

I'm starting to think Mchale isn't as bad as we thought. It's always been Sampson.

I know that Sampson is the senior assistant, but I would really like to see Chris Finch given the opportunity to run the team.

Sampson is lead assistant coach. He will step in if McHale is not available. The real problem is no matter who will be the lead assistant who still have to follow McHale guide line.

I know that Sampson is the lead assistant. I said exactly that in my post.

When McHale was hired it was widely believed that Chris Finch was the Rockets coach of the future and that he would be grooming him for that role. That's one of the reported reasons why Adelman was upset - he didn't want to have a guy on his staff who was considered to be his eventual replacement.

Agreed, Sampson has had several cracks without success. He was also aggressively seeking a position elsewhere before the season but it fell through.

I don't think Dwight or any big name FA chooses Houston if Chris Finch is the head coach. Maybe when the team is completely assembled to Morey's liking
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
