if lin can make that layup
if stupid ref make some right call

All we had to do was get a rebound. We forced a miss, but then Lillard of all people was able to keep the ball alive on a second chance play which allowed LMA to tip it in and send it to OT. 15 of LMA's 46 were from second chance opportunities and 8 points were direct tip-ins/put-backs.

This. All Houston needed was one rebound. It looked like Dwight had to outrebound three Portland guys. Lilliard, their point guard gets the tip. Horrible rebounding/defense by a couple of Houston players (maybe Parsons and I don't know who the other guy was), but it was not Dwight's fault. He can't outrebound a whole team.

This is some of what I was talking about earlier. McHale was outcoached, we all know the refs were terrible and we need set plays with plan A,B and C when the free flow offense isn't working. We have to improve late game execution as well.

Coach McHale gets a very poor grade for his coaching last night. Steaming thru this breakdown now...

Nice video!

Disgusting efforts by the refs indeed. :nonono:

~lol~ According to the shameful Mob at CFasncists, this guy would be name-called in an acronym-filled manner and mocked as unknowledgeable. 8-)

What chaotic offense, what undisciplined executions, what futile gimmicks, what lousy adjustments. This team is not coached for the playoffs; do the right thing, Morey.

Thx a ton for the post!

The refs were equally bad on both ends. Hopefully Wednesday game will be better.

And to Coach McHale, please no more ISO Harden at crunch time.

It's hard to take any NBA reffing apology from any game in which Scott Foster is a referee as a serious apology. As long as he continues to be a referee in the league, every game he refs will be questionable due to his connection to Tim Donoghy. In fact, I find them apologizing for a game he refereed kinda comical, since they should be apologizing for him being a referee at all after those connections are considered.

This game was atrociously reffed from start to finish, and it's not an accident or a surprise.

Truly a great shame :nonono:

We had zero FTs in the first half or something? And ticky tack fouls that led to both our centers being a foul trouble and several that led to turnovers.
