McHale Trilogy: Grievances, Appreciation and Replacement

Grievances:

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

McDumbhell!!! Ridiculous panic/survival mode showing. Have no clue on D and O, just energy and give the ball to the stars. Didn't you play in the playoffs? Why couldn't you try different lineups in the regular season? How could you be outcoached so bad? It's not like your opponent has tons of experience in the postseason!

Appreciation

Thanks for developing some of the young bigs like TJ, DMo and even Asik. Thanks for giving D12, Harden, Bev and Parsons opportunities to shine. Thanks for being a harda$$ on Lin, making sure he fixes some of his flaws. Thanks for the Vipers show, (Canonball, Trojan Daniels, Jordan, Covington, Powell) real entertaining! Thanks for having an inspiring voice that's kinda like Rocky's. Thanks for not complaining that you have to coach a talented roster with high expectations even though you were hired for developmental purposes.

So long! Best of luck!

Replacement

Mario Elie? He's not very experienced tho. Avery Johnson? Anthony Carter? Alvin Gentry?

I think the best coach for this team would be SVG if Dwight and him can reconcile. Otherwise Sloan is the best proven two way winner out there. (sorry some of you guys, is winning not most important? Hornacek is amazin)

Hollins and JVG are not bad; good at D and shouldn't be that bad at O. Larry and Hubie too old? How about Ollie? McMillan? Magic Johnson? Zeke? (best backcourt) Fratello? Cassell? (Wiz winning because of him?)

JVG!! JVG!!

Its obvious he wants to coach here again. The rockets know how to score without McHales input but he obviously has no clue how to prepare a playoff defense. LMA shouldnt have had back to back games like that. Make it happen Morey.

JVG or Hollins are really the only retreads I have interest in. Also like Ellie outside those three I think they should look to college for a coach

Qualifications to coach the Rockets

1. Understand how to create an offense that revolves around threes and points in the paint.
2. Keeps the team accountable on defense
3. Understand the players and knows how to motivate them to their best.

What else did I miss?

I would enjoy the irony of SVG coaching Dwight again but overall I think he would be good fit. Jerry Sloan gets my vote but I'm expecting him to stay retired...
