Dude, why are you talking about a foul to give?! Do you realize in every possible scenario, Portland is shooting the immediately as it hits their hands? A foul to give at that point in the game is meaningless..

Not true. A foul could be made on the catch if the player has his back to the basket. Meaning if the player has to catch turn then shoot.

Regardless, Parsons got screened by his own man and Harden was just being a spectator traffic director.

I'm not going to be a hindsight general.

Yes, but if a player is catching the ball with his BACK to the basket with 0.9 seconds left, they deserve to lose in the first place.

0.9 Chandler Parsons makes a reverse layup from 2 feet out.
0.9 Trail Blazers take a 20-second timeout.
0.9 Substitution: Mo Williams in for Robin Lopez.
0.9 Substitution: Patrick Beverley in for Troy Daniels.
0.9 Substitution: Terrence Jones in for Jeremy Lin.
0 Damian Lillard makes a 3-point jump shot from 25 feet out.

What ta hell you sub out Lin for? Lin and Bev are the best defenders for Lillard. This is the worst sub ever. Anyways, it wouldn't matter that much probably but might help. McHale!!!

Silver lining is that no rac/fasncist can blame Lin for this, just not an option.

Well, all good teams need some time to gel. Good year for gelling, make some mistakes now and guys know that they need to get some discipline from a great coach next year.
MKL wrote:But to be fair to TJones. He was put in a situation to fail. This season was suppose to be TWIN TOWERS.

The PF job was up for grabs and TJones was the best they had.

Whey didn't McHale play a veteran like Cisco?

POR played their usual rotations consistent with the regular season.

HOU playoff rotations were all over the place. Daniels the rookie for example was a desperation move.

Mad scientist. Hope next season we get a consistent rotation, for example: TT, Parsons, Harden, Lin; bench: DMo, TJ, Garcia, Daniels, Bev. It wasn't completely bad to have some crazy experiments tho, try different stuff, get to know the players more, strength and weaknesses.
Zubby wrote:ok enough knee jerk, Jones really isn't that bad, he is playing at home and tried to do way too much. Dmo really should of been in, he gave POR fits when he got PT and he is a smarter defender.
Honestly Asik was just as bad this game with his bonehead plays on defense.

Agreed. Quite surprised DMo was not given a try on LMA, just a try in maybe the second game? Asik needs to grow up a bit.

Can't blame McHale for putting Parsons on Lillard. :x

What chaos! Unbelievable! :banghead: Perhaps Lin in instead of Harden? What might have been??!? :banghead:

So, he's much better than Irving.

no hating but its a highly uptempo series and you guys dont play a ton of D so you cant just say he's outplayed every PG so far when the numbers in this series is off the charts for alot of guys

The thing is, we have a guy whose main reason for being on the court is to bother Lillard.

Thanks for the honesty.

Well, in Game 6, we almost won the game. Like 90% of the chance. Lillard hit that 5 feet fade away from the 3 point line, and that's a miracle shot. Actually I would say the two teams are fairly evenly matched. If we win game 6, we possibly could win game 7 in Houston home court. In the end, only slight misjudgement from the refree and few careless mistakes by us and few outrageous miracle plays by them cost us.
