Yes he did, he probably thought he can get it half-court, to run some time before calling a timeout. Well boy was he wrong.
no he did not. he came down and covered the ball. when Dwight came over he used the pick to get away as he had lilliard and Williams coming at him.
remember, you can catch and shoot in 0.3 seconds so 1 second is a long time.
