LOL Perkins believes Durrant would benefit from weight lifting. Well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black. I think Perkins would benefit from a treadmill and stair master

Just saw this:
Satisfying LeBron costly to Heat draft
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamih ... heat-draft
Astounding how some of the CFasncists superstitiously believe that Chalmers is better than Lin. SMH......
There is still possibility that Lin would end up in Miami, interesting, we shall see.
Satisfying LeBron costly to Heat draft

MIAMI -- Having boasted one of the league's oldest rosters last season, there's no question the Miami Heat need to get younger.
Considering their failures at the position during their demoralizing loss to San Antonio in the Finals, the Heat also are in desperate need of help at point guard.
And beyond anything else right now, the Heat need to keep LeBron James. One of the keys to keeping LeBron is to make him happy and satisfied with every potential roster move.

Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

What happened?
Some ballboy Carl leaked inside info that Kidd was attempting a coup and was going to get fired and run to the Bucks.
It was so crazy, but it all turned out to be completely true. And the national sports media followed up afterwards.

spolgar wrote:Spurs young players are contributing a big way to the Spurs winning, this time, but Manu's been lights out too the last two games. They wouldn't need to rebuild as much, but Duncan is a 20 PER player, as is Manu. It will be difficult to replace that kind of offensive efficiency.
Bob Hill's career after the Spurs was a 36-78 at Fordham for 4 years. He brought in Adrian Walton and Smush Parker. His next stint was with the Sonics where he took over from the previous head coach, and was fired over the phone a year latter. He coached 9 seasons in the NBA. Aside from the 2 seasons with the Spurs, he only had two seasons over 500.
Ginobli's offensive flopping isn't as 'innovative', considering he didn't get heavy rotation minutes until his second season, and didn't start until 2005. Kevin Martin, another 'very efficient scorer', had already had a good run in college doing the same thing. And we all know he was well loved for 3 quarters out of every game when he played here.
I'll let Reggie Jackson go. We had 3 point guards in camp that year. I think the trade for the 23rd pick (Vuveic) to Milwaukee wasn't just got Motie, but to swap Jonny Flynn for a nearly done Brad Miller too. Mirotic hasn't played an NBA minute yet, and maybe Morey got that impression he wasn't coming over any time soon.
Toby Harris and Faried were clear misses, especially Faried. I'll let it THarris go since we got Parsons in the same draft. We had Chase too, and we thought he was working out well. We still had Scola, Patty Pat was on the roster, and it looked like that was a rotation that could work. Faried is 6-8 in shoes, 230 pounds or so, looked a bit tweenish and also suffered by playing in Ohio Valley with Morehouse. I mean NBA scouts generally have just been wary of mid major prospects until lately when mid major schools have consistently have gone deep into the tournament.
I think we do look a lot better harder at prospects coming out of the mid majors now as the strength of schedule between mid major and major conference schools is closing in difficulty ever year. I don't think we're gonna take a swing at someone like Royce White ever again. I think we draft well enough, but our talent development, for whatever reason, lags behind that other power house to the east on I-10.
The New Orleans Hornets?
Good post though
