I think so. I don't think Asik would suit up for us next season if we don't trade him.

LOL that would be so awkward.

"Hey Omer, I know you've been in trade talks all year. I know we traded you away so that we could go after someone better. But they turned us down, so you mind stay for another year? No hard feelings right pal?"

Well, we already made it through one year of awkwardness, so what's another year? :D

they might pull the trade now and do the trade with pelicans again, but this time a straight up asik for anderson trade...no picks involved.

It's possible because the Pels never had the cap to take Asik. They're talking waiving Doc's son.

Do it.

so after 2 years overpaying asik and lin we got nothing from them

they help us win nothing

we got a 1st round pick for asik and gave up 1 for lin 1-1=0 a big zero

i will never understand what was morey thinking when he decided to sign this 2

morey is a crazy dude
fire morey please ,the sooner the better.....ryan Anderson is a 3 not a 4

2 year of paying them 5 mil a year each is overpay now...

But I agree with you on the win nothing part. You're going to love the rest of Harden's stay then.

When Dwight was signing a contract with Rockets, it seems like Rockets and Dwight/ Chandlers agent had a wink wink deal to release Parsons as a restricted free agent this year.

Even Morey is not that stupid to release a guy like Parsons before his rookie contract expires.

Now I realize signing Dwight was even a worse deal than I initially thought. This franchise is now doomed for the foreseeable future.

Some people seem to have fish memory when it comes to Asik. If it was not for him, this team was a lottery bound team in 2012-2013 season. Las Vegas odds for over/under wins was 26. Even if they signed Harden after that, I dont think without Asik's defense and rebounding this team would have gone to the playoffs that season.

You guys did something with Lin and Asik: the ability to bid on Bosh...so you had that going for you..which was nice.
