Getting that out of the way, taking a look at the rest of the team (as of 9/16 and assuming Gee, Hopson, Powell are gone):

Nick Johnson (G)

Clearly this roster needs an upgrade behind Howard, unless Capela is ready, which I have high doubts about. I really like Adrien, Canaan and Daniels to stick. It seems like Garcia, Capela and Johnson would as well.

Oh yes, my bad on forgetting Papa.

I just can't imagine the Rockets will be going into the season without making a move to upgrade behind Howard. I really do think Capela is intriguing, but maybe one of the Utah Jazz guys would work (Gobert, Kanter).


If the Milwaukee Bucks can't find enough time for John Henson, he'd be worth taking a long look at as a 4/5.

Did you all see the picture Dwight Howard and Pat Beverly posted on Instagram? It's a picture of the Rockets starting 5 but drawn in somewhat caricature form... It's sweet, but I don't have access to it here to post.

If anybody else can get it, I think it would be great for game threads.

^^^ Best part of the pic is Bev looking like a man possessed. Don't really know why they put a goofy grin on serious Harden; would have been much better suited for Dwight instead.

This team literally has no 6th man... or 7th or 8th.. you get the idea. There are a couple of nice pieces there (Canaan, Daniels, Adrien, Papa, DMO) but those guys aren't pushing leads on opponent second units.
