Yep

rocketsballin wrote:rotations are ****

-ariza and harden still playing too many minutes despite the trades
-smith should put a string of good games together before taking the starting spot from dmo
-now kostas cant get any burn cuz of brewer? you're supposed to play both of them. brewer has never been a good 3pt shooter, he's fluking big time and will come back down to earth. might be a decent 3pt shooter in houston but nothing close to the 59%
-canaan lost his playting time to shved? shved was barely a rotational player on the sixers. liek smith, he's suupposed to earn his minutes. canaan should be ahead of shved and nick, and fight for minutes with terry

team chemistry is shot but doesnt mean the rotations need to go to **** too. its been plenty of time, there's nothing on canaan or kostas being injured. so if that was the case they would've put that out. i'll wait till midseason to give this team a grade. too many variables getting in the way right now. i better see some **** plays by mid january. or at least acknowledge that shooting 34% from three as a team is not good at all esp when u lead the league in attempts by a lot.

Yep

McHale needs to find time for all the guys and I dislike that Smith gets minutes without earning them.

Papa is a good shot-creator, solid defender and great rebounder. McHale should pair him with Brewer Terry D-Mo and one of the "HH"...

Bench line-up:

Terry
(Harden)
Brewer
Papa
Motiejuwon
(Howard)

No more Dorsey please...

Yeah, I'm really not sure keeping Dorsey over Black was the best decision.

hope someone wake up and slap howard in the face make him realize we are 4-4 since he return to the lineup
our offense movement stop whenever you want the ball in the paint and you suck at post up
just play defense and grab your rebound you can't block every single shot
someone need to tell beverley stop staying so close on his opponent
whenever that player drive pass beverley
we are playing 4 on 5
someone tell ariza stop doing stupid mistake
you are a veteran
you should know you can't stay out of bound unless you are inbounding the ball

It was strictly financial. Since Dorsey makes more, and also sucks more, he knew no one would pick up his contract. But with Black being waved, at least another team will take him on but leaves the Rockets off the hook. I guess they figured he'd only be playing 5-10 minutes a night anyway so it's not a huge difference and might as well save a couple million.

I'm willing to buy the financial argument but with they way the Rockets are moving, it seems like this is an "all in" type of season and if Black is the better player, I'd prefer they'd kept him. I guess they're both fairly worthless.

It'd be nice if the Rockets had a big who can hit a FT.

Dorsey is not the reason we lost this game. He played OK getting 3 steals. Blame the starters.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

i didn't blame the game on dorsey
i said it was stupid to offer him 2 years contract
i think one year minimum contract is enough to get him to sign the contract

i mainly blame the game on howard
offense totally suck whenever howard is trying to get the ball

You weren't the only poster mentioning Dorsey.

Agreed but we need PAPA.

I agree we should play Papa too if only because we are paying him $4.8 million this season and need to know whether to pick up his $4.6 million option for next year too. By Comparison Dorsey is only making $948k this season and is guaranteed $1 million next year. That is really nothing.

black was waived cuz no team want dorsey. he has one more year guaranteed, no one want to pick that up. he can still be packaged in a trade.

i don't get why there is such a long discussion surrounded around black and dorsey. they're least involved in the problems we have.

Dorsey is the new scapegoat here now that Lin is gone lol.
