You still have your agenda against Terrence? He's a young player still on his rookie deal. Nearly every player in his spot is inconsistent across the League and yet you still rail on this player constantly.

Fact is, Terrence is really versatile and a nice player but still has faults and learning to do. You need to learn patience and understand growth takes time. He's much better than you give him credit for.

And yes, I know you will continue your agenda here. It makes for great GT reading... :roll:

I don't have an "Agenda" I'm just frustrated with him and his wild inconsistencies. When he's good he is good but when's he's bad he's really bad. He also is one of our biggest defensive problems. Nate Duncan on the Duncd on Pod called him the worst post defender out of all the fours in the NBA. And he's terrible defending in space and fails to rotate by my and many others eyes

I used to like Terrence Jones and thought he was the answer at the four long term but then after that weird leg injury he just looks completely different. He's already lost a fair amount of his athleticism, that combined with the fact he always scared To go up with the ball in the paint cause him to get blocked all the time and not be able to finish. His best traits are his shooting and getting a rebound and going coast to coast but he's been reluctant to do either one

Like I said, he's still on his rookie deal and inconsistent. I think that's perfectly reasonable and the Rockets have asked him to be more than he is at this stage of his career.

He is a defensive liability at this point but he's a pretty strong rebounder and offensive player as he continues to improve his game. I also agree his injuries set him back a bit as an athlete and in turn, his defense.

I like him a ton but don't see him as the long term 4 but I don't want him bounced from the team. I'd rather see the Rockets bring in a bigger PF as a #2 offensive option and defender. Jones is great from the bench and can give quality minutes as a reserve.

But he's only on the rookie contract for a few months. He's about to be gone for nothing because I'd rather not retain him for anything over MLE level
