Might've won if JBB didn't play Dwight-Capela. Or Dwight in general. -31 tonight. We are now 0-3 when he scores 25 or more. 5-7 when he scores 20. His "good" games don't help. His best offensive games are his worst on D.

they said they go small (two SF starting in front court) so Haren has more room to iso
that's what McHale was doing before he's fired
i don't know why they keep going to Howard/Capela combo
both can't shoot 3 ft away from the basket
Smith 3pts is streaky but at least he can put the ball on the floor

He's 21. He will get better. But he is a center. He shouldn't have to make plays like that and doesn't have to when he's playing center. They have that problem when they play him at the four. He's too young, inexperienced, and not good enough to play out of position. In a year or two he will be a well above average starter

You learn as you play. Players get smarter with time. You think at 21 KD or Harden or Curry understood the game nearly as well as they do now? Not even close. You learn with experience. Almost every rookie is dumb compared to the rest of the league.

It's too bad McHale was the scapegoat for the slow start to the season, he's still a way better coach than JBB.

Maybe it's time to cut our losses and trade Howard, Brewer, Lawson, and possibly Jones and rebuild around Harden, Beverley, D-Mo, Capela, and possibly Ariza as well.
