You're always negative though, so I don't agree. We have as good a shot as anybody to land KD and even with low odds, it's a position the Rockets must take.

I think a max for Whiteside is a mistake anyhow.

Everyone wants to win. KD is no exception. He's not going to come over here when we barely made the playoff. Especially now we don't even know who is the head coach. Morey plan to sell on team history success, which I don't think will work. I will look more into the future not history. If player just look at team history then everyone should go to Boston and Lakers.

I know Morey is always making low risk high reward move, but some is no reward at all.
I think is about time for him to take high risk and high reward move.
I also think Whiteside for max is a mistake but it is risk I'm willing to take.
I know most are willing to take the risk on Cousins, but we see the same Harden's lost of focus on defensive end in Cousins.
Between max Barnes and max Whiteside. I'll take Whiteside.

Whiteside had two superb season in a row. I don't like the idea of giving him max but this is the NBA and teams love to overpay when they have the space
