Ryan Pickett in the house. I think he'll be a nice addition to the Texans.

That said, the Texans don't have much to look forward to after the Bills leave.

Right now they're probably looking forward to another loss against the Bills unless they suddenly learn how to stop the run.

It sucks that Nix isn't going to see the field any time soon and Clowney is still out.

I hope Foster will be able to play this week and Galifitzpatrick can keep from turning the ball over.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

First, welcome Mr Rolle. I thinknk he'll become an asset.

Second, I'm looking forward to welcoming Mr Brady to Houston.

Money fight Manny? Yeah yeah... I think Money beats him easily at this point, but the conversation is there:

Mayweather Sr.: It's gonna happen

Although Floyd Mayweather Jr. has yet to announce his plans for 2015, his father has no doubt that a fight against Manny Pacquiao will happen.

"It's gonna happen. That fight's gonna happen. Trust me," Floyd Mayweather Sr. told fighthype.com. "That fight's definitely gonna happen. It's a fight for the world, man, right there. It's the biggest fight that has ever been in life, so like I said, man, that fight's gonna happen."

Mayweather Sr. said his son never told him that the fight was in his plans, but with his son saying that he will retire after finishing the two fights left on his six-fight Showtime deal, he believes all signs point to the megafight with Pacquiao.

"[I'll] tell you right now, he never told me the fight's gonna happen, but ... the fight's gonna happen," Mayweather Sr. told the website. "You mark my words, and we'll see."

The 37-year-old Mayweather Jr., who is 47-0 with 26 knockouts and holds the welterweight and junior middleweight titles, has yet to divulge his future plans other than he expects to fight somebody in May.

"I'm gonna go and talk to my team and see what the future holds," Mayweather said last month after his second victory over Marcos Maidana. "I don't know who I'm fighting in May, but I expect to fight in May. Manny Pacquiao needs to focus on the guy in front of him. Once he gets past him, he can look to the future. If the Pacquiao fight presents itself, let's make it happen."

Texans lost and likely to lose against the Steelers.

Two questions:

1. Does Bill switch QBs this season, assuming the losses continue?

2. Why does Bill elect to receive opening kick offs, only to punt 3 plays later? I'd rather see him kick, put the defense on the field, improve initial field position and get the ball in the second half.

Bonus question:

3. Does Watt have a legit shot at MVP?

I'm kind of rooting for Brett Hundley or Sean Mannion to end up in Houston.

Think Rivers got the MVP locked up unless the Chargers fall off a cliff.

Umm no he has not shot. Texans suck and will be hard to give him a MVP playing on a below five hundred team.

Yeah, the Texans losing seriously hurts Watt's chances but dude has been having an MVP season, no doubt.

I'm now more upset the Texans didn't trade Andre to a contender for draft picks and I hope we see a new GM in town next season.

I was really pissed about that!!! This would have been the year to. Next year were going to be lowballed for him, but e also owe it to Andre. He should be playing for a superbowl contender

Yep, imagine if he were with San Diego or some equivalent. I read that piece on the Hershel Walker trade the other day and just kept wondering why Houston didn't do this.

Don't get me wrong, I really really like Bill, but I think they needed to go all in on the rebuild by adding as many picks as they could. Before the season, I figured this team would win 4 games and they'll probably surpass that but not by much and not enough to make the playoffs.

Dallas Health Care Worker gets Ebola

http://online.wsj.com/articles/texas-health-care-worker-tests-positive-for-ebola-says-health-department-1413112243?mod=WSJ_hpp_LEFTTopStories

A health-care worker who cared for the Ebola patient who died last week in Dallas has preliminarily tested positive for the disease, Texas health officials said early Sunday, in what is likely to have been the first known transmission in the U.S.

The worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas reported a low-grade fever Friday night and was isolated, the health department said. A blood sample tested positive at the state public-health laboratory in Austin late Saturday, and a confirmatory test is being conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said that “unfortunately, we are confident” that the test will be confirmed positive by the CDC.

The health-care worker is believed to be a nurse, according to a person familiar with the investigation. The person was considered to be at low risk for contracting the disease, but was one of 18 hospital staff members who were told to check their temperatures twice daily. It was during one such check that the health-care worker discovered a fever, reported it to the hospital, and was isolated within 90 minutes of the fever check, officials said.

Ok I hope the Texans lose and they trade andre to San Diego. Prolonging this seems pointless and hurts a better opportunity for a quarterback.

Thanks for the info, I missed seeing K.R.I.T the last time he was in town. I'll try to catch him this time.

In other news, apparently Lowry's first choice was the Rockets and he was waiting on the call to sign a deal. I just can't help but to think of having Lowry here for 10-12 million a year, but hindsight yada...yada...

Cool Red, I hope you get to the show. He's rolling out Cadillactica so it should be an incredible show.

BTW, no worries about Lowry... we're getting Mr. Kevin Durant.
