"I'm very happy with what I was able to accomplish. I was able to change a lot of people's lives in my family, including myself in a game that I eventually fell in love with and will always be in love with. And hopefully I can stay around the game until I die. It was a fun ride. It went by fast, too. It was like one minute I was 18, the next I was 25 then was 30 and now I'm 35. It was a fun run. Met a lot of great people."
-- Al Harrington

Yep, it's just like that.

Speaking of which, damn I've posted here for a decade???

Yes, it was time. Shaka Smart would be an interesting hire although he's showed no interest in leaving VCU.

Barea isn't just a flopper tho. He's a GOAT-level flopper. I watched with baited breath when the Rockets went big with Harden and Brewer in the backcourt leaving JJB on Harden. I thought if Harden drives we are going to see 4 arms and 2 heads flailing all over the place as Harden does his thing and Barea does his. Alas, they only really matched up one possession and JJB did a remarkable job keeping James in front of him and Harden passed it off.

But JJB takes defensive flopping to an art form. What I love is how mad he gets when defenders flop against him--he always acts like its a travesty of justice ignoring what he does 3 or 4 times a night.
