when your goal is to win a championship, that's mediocre ball.

and more importantly, we don't show any signs of improvement over the 4 years so when you're stuck at one level, you're mediocre

then every season there are 29 mediocre teams since only one team can be champion.

It's really impressive hhow the Celtics captialyze on the options their big 3 create , their role players making shots.

We are somehow still in this game.

Yao cannot play much worse than this. It has been a disaster in this disaster of a season for him, but he has to play better in the second half. He can't be this bad.

That was a HUGE two missed layups by Bonzi, the worst case scenario is that we'd be down under double digits instead we are down by 11. Liked the fight in the second, unfortunately I HIGHLY doubt it'll keep up.

t-mac has TENDON STRAIN, COULD BE OUT EVEN MORE

haha, if t-mac took MRI during the dallas game or after the dallas game, this would have never happened.

But you gotta like the 2nd quater. It's all about Boston, do not expect a win but we did pretty well in the 2nd.

Yao is shooting very badly. At least one good thing, he has only 1 TO :D

Eventhough Yao is not shooting well, he still getting a lot of attention and created space for the rest. As long as the team do well when he is playing, he has +ve impact to the game. btw his +/- is now -7 from -15 in the 1st Q.

I like Adelman's adjustments. Under Van Gundy, we would be down by at least 25 right now.

Good team defensive display by the Celts. Put a big body on Yao and always had a perim guy threatening the middle - results as observed in the 1st qtr. he needs to ignore the half threat from the perim and go to the middle anyway.

but i knew after looking at the starting lineup that the 1st qtr was gonna suck. and i dunno what took adelman so long to switch personel. maybe he was waiting for the lead to hit 20 or something. sigh.

good 2nd qtr tho'. pretty simple stuff too. more offensive players out there == more offense.

Yes the 2nd quarter show some hope for the rockets. Hope they can take that and comeback stronger in the 2nd half.

exactly. but unless a team IMPROVES significantly from one season to the next, then no.

we are stuck in MUD.

if the rockets go back to that starting lineup for the 3rd i'm giving up on this game.

hayes/battier are started for their D, but their 1x1 D just isn't good enough to warrant their lack of offensive production.

for the 3rd, start scola, bonzi instead of hayes/head and have battier on allen.

Return to Houston Rockets
