Mr. E's Halftime Thoughts -

Harden has not been that spectacular. Neither have the Warriors as a whole. So far this whole game seems to be about the non-superstar players and so far that has meant a lead for Houston. Of course, these are the Warriors, so we all know that they're coming out like gangbusters to start the third.

Houston's defensive rebounding on the Warriors is one of the clear advantages this team has. Unfortunately, the Rockets missed many chances close to the basket, so finishing at the rim has got to be a priority. Once again the Warriors are defending the hell out of the three point line, but the shots should start falling at some point.

I am curious to see if Harden returns with the wrist taped. He's looked off all night.

Ariza, Beverley, Montrezl and Gordon have been playing really well. The team misses the Spaceman, though.

These teams seem to really want to beat each other every time they play. Second half should be a fun ride!
