If he didn't shoot so poorly he would have had a place here, maybe we wouldn't have even had to trade for Battier. He basically had Battier's role when he was here, and he has that same role now with Orlando. I guess he worked on his jumper or something, he had the same open looks when he was here, created by Yao/McGrady.

Yeah, he attacked more to, which is something where missing right now. I don't know though, I thought we lost Bogans after we got Battier? I remember the Magic offered him a contract, but we didn't? Or he wanted to go to Orlando, it was something like that.

Well we got Battier, and then we made no effort to resign Bogans, even though he was a RFA I think so we could have matched Orlando. I think Battier is significantly better than Bogans and they do similar things, but if Bogans shot better perhaps we would have contemplated keeping him, not trading for Battier, and drafting someone instead, Rudy Gay or not.

I'd guess a decision was made early in that offseason that Bogans was not the answer in that three point shooter/perimeter defender role, so if we could get someone to fill that role we'd just let Bogans go. Battier was it.

Trade still would have happened but instead we would have gotten Miller

To help out with the question on Jameer, he has been battling injuries/plus loss of his father all year, he reaggravated his back a couple of games ago and then came arroyo, stan was talking about benching him b4 so its kind of injury/suckage(more of using his injury as an excuse to bench him due to his suckage) but he is backup as of now
About Keith Bogans...I don't really know where this shot has come from b/c he didn't display it last year, I think it has to do with Stans free system in which encourages these shots plus hes taking 6 a game.
Anyways I look forward to the game as I always do against u guys
Like someone said we have been inconsistent and have really sucked at home, hopefully we can put an end to that tonight. GL guys

Bogans worked very hard this past offseason on his shot and dropped a bunch of weight in order to be quicker and work in VanGundy's system.

Has Francis been playing recently for you guys since the McGrady injury, Or is he still on the bench?

Wish he did the same for JVG. He would be a great fit for our team and probably retained if he shot better for us.

Francis has been essentially banished from the team. I don't know if he'll play for us again.

Not a bad start guys, but Yao needs to work on his game, hes been looking a little sluggish on that turn around jumper.

Come on Rockets, Battier was wide open, that should not have been a turnover. I think we should take to the ft line more. I like our agressivness but i Hate Yao's jumpers!

Good start, we have been running, passing the ball, Rafer is playing well, and Yao is playing alright. Needs to work on that jumper though.

that has been the case ALL YEAR. if he's not withint 12 ft when he's posting up, DO NOT LOOK FOR HIM.

either move him around w/ picks so he can get better position, or use the pick and roll, or go to another guy and let him get the offensive board.

u saw his last 2 baskets: off of offensive boards
