How about Yao guarding Kirolenko? AK47 is not an offensive threat like Okur and Boozer.

We have to play smart this game, and we have to convert every opportunity we get. If we want to fast break, then we need to do it efficiently (unlike our horrible display against Portland). We need to be aggressive against Utah; we can't let this game decide on our 3 pt %. We can not turn the ball over 20x like we did vs Portland and expect to win this game. We also need to share the ball and establish our threats outside of Mcgrady and Yao early. I'm not too worried about our offensive production though; I'm more worried about how our defense will fare now that Korver is in the mix for Utah. I'm interested to see if Adelman can outcoach Sloan like he did Nate Mcmillan.

The biggest key to this game is that we can't let Utah's scrubs kill us...especially Matt Harpring. For one reason or another that guy loves to play us.

Both teams are playing well. But we are at home and this is a game we need to win. We know them well. They know us well but they haven't seen the rookies yet. We haven't seen Korver yet but the guy is just a shooter...a dam good one..but still just a shooter. He is somebody we gotta attack offensively and get points on him. Calling on Bonzi to do that for us.

They know they can beat us here but we know we can beat them as well. Both teams playing well. We know who we have to stop and we know we gotta get on the boards. Should be a good one but its a big one for us b/c we gotta continue to push towards getting into the playoffs.

I hope Tracy will be back in the startin' lineup. We have struggled a lot past several games in the 1st quaters. Just need that 2nd star who can draw double teams, make shoots and create shoots.

Harp a scrub? Please. He plays harder than anyone on the team and is good on defense. Last time we played, I don't remember how he did, or if he even played, but his minutes were limited at the start of the season, increased somewhat with time, and are now unlimited. We need his toughness off the bench, despite what some clown Jazz fans say.

And to whomever said AK is not an offensive threat, he has been shooting very well lately. Had 25 points against the Kings, and I believe that he was 3/4 from downtown.

To whomever said Boozer blows on defense, well, can't really put it much better than that!

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll get on the horn to Adelman asap :)

Forgot to mention in the last post, if the Jazz give Yao single coverage with Okur (like the series last year), Yao has to _own_ him. Last time he used his injury as an excuse (ok, fair enough), but this time no excuses. He has to man up. C'mon big guy.

Hou as quietly become a top offensive rebounding team this year which is also a strength of Utah's so it'll be interesting who wins that battle.

T-Mac should start but I think it's still a game-time decision on that one.

id like to see tracy come off the bench. let the starting 5 (even yao) keep running and cutting and playing adelman's system. when tracy comes in, everything slows down. i just cant wait to see what our big 3 rooks can do.

ya'll see phil benching kobe for going straight at lebron 1-on-1 3 straight times ignoring his teammates??

i think if this dude coached tmac, man, tmac would go to another level.

kobe is so fortunate for many reasons.
